CUSTOMIZE SIMPLE REPORTS Permission

You must have the REPORT SETUP permission to assign the CUSTOMIZE SIMPLE REPORTS permission to enable the Customize option on the reports setup screen. When you have the CUSTOMIZE SIMPLE REPORTS permission assigned, you can customize simple reports only in a non-APS environment. To customize the BI Publisher (WORD) reports, you must use the CUSTOMIZE BI PUBLISHER REPORTS permission.
